The following is an estimate of the expenses related to enrollment in the nursing program.

Admission Assessment Exam – $40
Criminal Background Check – $58 (Cost may be higher if applicant has had multiple names and/or addresses in past seven years; students will submit the fee directly to the background check company).
Urine Drug Screen – $28 (fee paid by the student to the designated provider).
Health Assessment/Physical Examination – $150 (cost varies by healthcare provider and insurance coverage; fee paid by the student to the healthcare provider)
Immunizations – Costs dependent upon which immunizations are needed.
Flu Immunization – $20 annually (cost varies by provider; fee paid by the student to the provider)
TB screening (PPD) – $20 annually (cost varies by provider; fee paid by the student to the provider)
Health Insurance – Costs varies by provider; fee paid by the student to the provider
Malpractice Insurance – $38, annually (cost may be higher if student holds a health care license and/or is employed in a health care setting; fee paid by the student to the provider)
Nursing Skills Kit – $150
Textbooks – $250 to $575, estimated, cost varies by semester
HESI Specialty Exams – $65 per semester
American Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers – $45 (cost varies by provider;fee paid by the student to the provider)
Uniforms and shoes – $350 (cost may be higher, dependent upon quality of uniforms and shoes)
Stethoscope, pen light, bandage scissors – $50 (cost may be higher, dependent upon quality)
Nursing School Pin – $38 to $450 (cost varies upon pin finish/material)
