UBMS SUMMER RESIDENTIAL STAFF APPLICATION


 

Tusculum University Upward Bound Math and Science seeks caring, open-minded, hardworking and flexible applicants for summer 2022 residential/virtual positions. Tusculum University Upward Bound Math and Science is an intensive college preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, designed to encourage college entry and completion for area low-income high school students whose parents do not have a four-year degree.

Summer positions this year will include 1 week of training, 5 weeks of residential work (off on weekends) and a 1 week cultural/educational trip. This schedule will be subject to change at any time and applicants should be flexible.

Interested applicants should have at least a 2.5 GPA and must have completed their sophomore year of college by the time of employment. Successful applicants must be willing to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and demonstrate a strong desire to serve as role-models to students. Applicants must also have obtained or be pursuing a degree in math, science or a related field. The positions will begin on May 23rd, 2022 and end on July 9th, 2022.
