Welcome to Educational Talent Search!
We have listed information about our program below as well as a video we typically share with students during our in-school presentations. We hope you will consider applying for our program by completing the online application below or by printing the paper application and returning to us by mail. Students who are eligible and selected to participate in the program will receive a Talent Search “welcome kit” which includes an Under Armour drawstring bag.
*Educational Talent Search is open to 6th-12th grade students. If you have friends or siblings in middle or high school who are interested in Talent Search, please share this page with them and have them complete the application below.
What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is housed at Tusculum University. Our goal is to provide guidance and assistance to eligible 6th-12th grade students in reaching their college and career goals. All of our activities and services are provided FREE of charge to participants. We typically meet with students during the school day but currently are providing virtual resources and activities. Our program will not interfere with band, sports, or any other extra-curricular activities students may be involved in. In order to be considered for Talent Search a completed application is required. All information is confidential and is not shared. Feel free to complete our online application by clicking the “APPLY ONLINE” link below. We will review your application and notify you by mail if you are eligible and selected so please make sure the mailing address on the application is correct. If you are already a participant in the Tusculum Talent Search Program, you do not need to complete a new application.
