Dr. B Henderson is an Associate Professor and the Program Director of Criminal Justice at Tusculum University. They earned their Bachelor’s and Master’s in Criminal Justice from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and their Ph.D. in Criminology from The University of South Florida. They have taught at the collegiate level full-time since 2014, including classes on research methods, corrections, criminalistics, criminology, and serial murder.  Their research interests include psychopathy and abnormal psychology, multiple homicide offending, human trafficking, and criminal justice issues in pop culture (e.g. Intimate partner violence in comic books). They have been published in The Journal of Criminal Justice, Feminist Criminology, and The Journal of Interpersonal Violence. In addition to their full-time teaching and programmatic responsibilities, they are also the managing editor for Criminology & Public Policy, the official premier policy journal for The American Society of Criminology.
