The primary goal of the program is to help students develop their potential to excel in math and science and help them to pursue postsecondary degrees in math and science<span style=\"color: black\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><label class=\"field-title\">Upward Bou<\/label><\/strong><strong><label class=\"field-title\">nd Math and Science Application<\/label><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Upward Bound Math and Science is a <strong>FREE<\/strong> college preparatory program for first-generation and income-qualified students from these select target high schools:<\/p>\n<p>Chuckey-Doak High School<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>North Greene High School<\/div>\n<div>South Greene High School<\/div>\n<div>South Greene High School<\/div>\n<div>Tennessee Online Public School (TOPS)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>SERVICES PROVIDED<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 College Preparation: ACT\/SAT Prep, College Preparatory Workshops &amp; Financial Literacy<br \/>\n\u2022 College Campus Tours<br \/>\n\u2022 Career Development: Internships and Workshops with Math and Science Professionals<br \/>\n\u2022 Personal Development: Cultural Activities &amp; Service Learning<br \/>\n\u2022 Academic Support: Weekly Academic Advising &amp; Tutoring<br \/>\n\u2022 Residential Summer Program on a College Campus<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>All Upward Bound Math and Science services are <strong>FREE<\/strong> to participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><p>The Upward Bound Math and Science Program&#8217;s mission is to assist low-income, first generation students with completing high school and going on to college.
