and<\/li>\n<li>Produces evidence of seeking improvement based on analysis or results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Establish institutional planning and effectiveness processes that:\n<ul>\n<li>Involve all programs, services, and constituencies;<\/li>\n<li>Incorporate planning and evaluation activities at the \u201cmacro\u201d (institutional) and \u201cmicro\u201d (unit-by unit) basis;<\/li>\n<li>Are linked to the decision-making process at all levels; and<\/li>\n<li>Provide a sound basis for budgetary decisions and resource allocations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight for all institutional planning and effectiveness initiatives including:\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic and operational planning for the University at the macro and micro levels;<\/li>\n<li>Annual planning and assessment of expected outcomes for administrative services, educational programs (student learning outcomes), collegiate-level general education competencies, and academic and student support services;<\/li>\n<li>Development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the University\u2019s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP);<\/li>\n<li>Identification, evaluation (using multiple measures), and dissemination (including publishing) of goals and outcomes for student achievement appropriate to the University\u2019s mission, the nature of the students served, and the kinds of programs offered;<\/li>\n<li>Periodic review of the University\u2019s programs to ensure relevancy, efficiency, and vitality; COMMUNICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Given the nature of the work of the team, individuals from Information Systems and Branding will be asked to attend meetings as needed.<\/li>\n<li>As required, the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (and\/or a designee) will attend Faculty Assembly, Dean\u2019s Council, and\/or Executive Cabinet to seek input, secure support, and disseminate activities and decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BUDGET<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Institutional Planning and Effectiveness Team does not have a dedicated budget, but has access to resources to support its work via the Institutional Research &amp;
