Dr. Keitzer received his B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida, his M.S. in Biology from Marshall University, and his Ph.D. in Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology from Purdue University. He then spent three years as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aquatic Ecology Lab at the Ohio State University, before joining the Natural Sciences Department at Tusculum College in 2016.
His research focuses on amphibian ecology and conservation and he has strong interests in improving watershed management to protect freshwater biodiversity. When he is not teaching or doing research, he enjoys spending time with family and exploring the amazing outdoors in eastern TN.
