Dr. Jacob I. Fait, Dean of the College of Business and Associate Professor of Business, brings years of experience both in academia and industry to Tusculum University.  Jacob most recently led his team through conversion from the School of Business & Technology to the College of Business as the institution transitioned to University, led the faculty through ACBSP self-study and successful accreditation as well as institutional record breaking graduate enrollment.  Jacob came to Tusculum after serving as the Associate Dean and Founding DBA Director of the School of Business at Lincoln Memorial University.

His industry experience includes: Big 4 Accounting/Consulting with Ernst & Young LLP with clients such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, regional banks and venture capital firms, Resort Management with Scott Enterprises, Consulting with Andrus Hospitality and over 11 years as majority owner of Roff School Tavern.

Jacob regularly publishes articles in the areas of leadership, employee motivation and hospitality and has won the award of best paper on three separate occasions in journals including: The Journal for Business Leadership & Journal of Organizational Psychology.  He has presented at the Academy of Management, Applied Business & Entrepreneurship International, the Association for Psychological Science and the ACBSP National Conference.

He holds a doctorate in organizational leadership from Gannon University with a focus on employee motivation and engagement. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in international business and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Duquesne University.
