Who is a RN-BSN Student? An RN to BSN student is a person who has completed an associate degree in nursing and has an active unencumbered Tennessee RN license or is eligible for licensure in Tennessee. The questions below apply only to the RN to BSN student.

 

As an RN-BSN student, which non-nursing courses must I have completed before starting my nursing courses? Please visit the Tusculum University Academic Catalog.

 

If I have earned my RN license through an associate degree program, am I required to complete the same general education courses as that of a student who enters the traditional program without a prior nursing background?  Yes, to earn your bachelor’s degree, you must complete all general education courses as noted in the catalog.

 

Is it possible to transfer nursing courses from another college or university?  Yes, it is possible. Nursing courses from other colleges and universities are evaluated on a course by course basis. For more information, contact the Dean of the College of Nursing for more information.
