Kendall Murray (Grow) is the newest ATC clinican in the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP). She holds a Master of Arts in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from San Jose State University in San Jose, California. Her thesis was titled “The Sleeper Stretch: Effects on Range of Motion and Injury in Baseball Players.”
She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania where she graduated cum laude in 2008.
While at San Jose State University, she earned experience as a graduate athletic trainer. From 2008 to 2010, she was responsible for the management, prevention and rehabilitation of all athletic injuries to the university’s athletes in football, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball and women’s gymnastics. He duties also included coverage of all practices, home events and travel to away competitions; communication with coaching and sports medicine staff members regarding student-athlete progress; documentation of medical and insurance paperwork, and assistance in drug testing collection.
She was NATABOC certified in April 2008 and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association since 2007. She is American Heart Association certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
She was honored with a graduate assistantship and a teaching assistantship at San Jose State University from 2008-2010.
