Mr. Daniel Green serves as the Senior Student Life Coordinator as well as manages the residential program for Mastrapasqua Hall & Apartments. He is a native of Chicago, Illinois and holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Science degrees in Education from Alcorn State University. At every stop in higher education, Daniel has enriched the lives of students, faculty, and staff. He takes great pride in challenging students to address their own biases, misconceptions, and ideologies of intolerance. Daniel possesses the talent of educating individuals through intensive diversity training workshops and seminars.

In addition to his role in higher education, Daniel has played a major role within numerous communities through volunteerism at head-start programs, after-school programs for high school students, and youth outreach services. In his own words, “I value the lives of others and I am committed to community development, which is vital to social change.”

As the Senior Student Life Coordinator, Daniel implements and administers programs that contribute to cultivating the development of students’ cultural competency, multicultural appreciation, leadership development, academic success and civic engagement. He also develops educational and social programming that furthers the building of community within residential life and promotes a climate that celebrates diversity by bringing students together in a community where differences are respected. His mission is to empower students, campus, and community partners through providing high quality programs in the areas of multicultural education, self-awareness, advocacy, intercultural understanding, and social justice with a dedication toward creating an inclusive campus community. “I am delighted to be a part of the Tusculum family as I am extremely passionate about and believe in the work being conducted at educational institutions,” says Daniel Green. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, volunteering, counseling, exercising, playing sports, learning new languages, reading, camping, and listening to live music.
