Both History and Museum Studies at Tusculum prepare students for a variety of important professional fields as well as for graduate school.
THE HISTORY MAJOR
The History Major serves students interested in pursuing careers in government, the law, or education. History courses help students hone the skills they will need to pursue a career as a civil servant, an attorney, teacher, or community leader, while preparing them for post-graduate studies required for most of these careers.
THE MUSEUM STUDIES MAJOR
The Museum Studies Major at Tusculum provides students with the academic training and hands-on experiences to become museum professionals. Students develop an understanding of the important role of museums, and they acquire the skills and knowledge to serve their communities as museum administrators, curators, and educators.
